The title “Modern Matron” is a bit of a play on words of the traditional image of a seasoned healthcare worker. At 30-something, I’m not a Victorian era head nurse, but I am a woman working full-time in the pharmaceutical industry who believes in managing her life with that same level of authority, care, and long-term vision.

This blog is my digital garden, a place for growing ideas rather than generating income. It’s a record of my planning for some form of early retirement, exploring the world, and living the most vibrant life while I’m building and learning along the way.
